Failure is not an end and every individual deserves another chance at proving themselves in this competitive world. Students who were unable to clear the Boards examination need not be discouraged, there is always another chance in life to prove themselves.

Students who have not been able to clear class 10 and 12 Board examinations have been placed in a compartment category where they get another opportunity to clear the examination. Students will be given three chances to clear the compartment examination. The CBSE has begun the registration for 10th and 12th Compartment exam. The examination will be conducted in the later half of July 2018. Those students who have been placed in the compartment category according to CBSE results will have to apply for the examination. Those students who have been placed in the compartment category by the CBSE schools will have to sit for a re-examination.

Important dates

• The process for the submission of application for the exam began on 12th June 2018.

• The last date for application is 21 June 2018.

How to apply 

• Parents will be required to register online and submit the application copy to the Regional office directly or post it to the regional office within a period of seven days.

 The admit cards for the 10th and 12th compartment exam will be released in the second week of July. Students may download them from the official website.

• Parents will be required to pay a fee of Rs.200 if they directly submit the application to the regional office and a fee of Rs.255 if they send the application by post. Rs.1000 is a late fee which is applicable if the application is processed after 21st June but before 27th June. And a late fee of Rs. 5,000 is applicable if the application is processed between 28th June and 30th June.
